Out of all the Kardashian-Jenners, Poosh creator Kourtney Kardashian is probably the least flashy of them, though younger sister Kendall Jenner has been making a case for that spot. Kardashian used to be, at least, before she decided to take it up a notch in the romance department with Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker. Now, she's going one step further in some steamy new pics that scream sparkly Twilight vampire, and I'm here for it.
In a handful of new pics on Instagram, Kourtney Kardashian is seen cuddling up on boyfriend Travis Barker's lap. The couple have been posting their undying love for each other on the Gram for some months now, to the delight of many of those closest to them. Who knew, though, that Kardashian was Twilight’s Edward Cullen in the relationship? If you’re not sure what I mean, see her sparkly vampire fangs below:
It's not too far-fetched to make the comparison between Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker and the fictional characters Edward Cullen and Bella Swan from Twilight. I mean, we're not the only ones seeing it, right? Beyond the vampire fangs and sparkles, it's the exact story of the brooding kind of bad boy and the... normal girl (???) unexpectedly falling in love. Stephenie Meyer would call it the lion and the lamb, but it's probably more appropriate to call it the punk rocker and the reality princess.
And like I said, I'm living for Kourtney Kardashian's glitter, Twilight-inspired fangs – not to mention Kim Kardashian's alien eyebrows. As we all know, it makes life more fun to wildly switch up your look from time to time. Kourtney was definitely playing up the vampire look on more than one occasion on her Instagram, even without the likes of her boo Travis Barker. A few days ago, she wore the glitter fangs with nothing else on but a lacy bra in some steamy pics.
Not to beat a dead horse about this, but the Twilight allusions concerning Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker go beyond just some sparkly grills. At the heart of the vampire films was, of course, the love triangle. Team Edward vs. Team Jacob? When it comes to Kardashian and Barker's new romance, the two similarly have suffered rumors about what can only be described as a love rhombus.
Barker's ex-wife Shanna Moakler has been publicly claiming that he cheated on her in their marriage years ago with none other than Kim Kardashian and even declared that Kourtney has “destroyed” her family life. Kim has since refuted the accusations, but it hasn't stopped Moakler’s hate toward the Kardashians.
Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker seem intent on ignoring the cheating allegations, for the most part, better yet to post more booty-grabbing, steamy love-fest vacation pics. I'm sure that's exactly what a Twilight vampire would be up to -- if they were allowed to be out in the sun.
