The Full Dancing With The Stars Season 22 Cast Has Some Big Names

This morning on Good Morning America all 12 upcoming Dancing with the Stars cast members were finally announced. We’ve known for a while that Fuller House actress Jodie Sweetin would be on board (among a few other names), but this morning the rest of the cast—and who they are partnered with—have been revealed. As it turns out, besides the usual actresses and TV personalities, Dancing with the Stars has signed on a slew of professional athletes to try their hand at ballroom numbers during Season 22. You can check out the full list, below. (You'll notice that Scott Disick is absent.)

First and foremost, we can’t leave out another mention of Marla Maples, who sounds like a character from A League of Their Own but is, in fact, the ex-wife of presidential hopeful Donald Trump. She’s also an occasional actress, although we’re about as familiar with her career as we are her dancing skills.

Along with Barton, a slew of athletes are going to be a part of Dancing with the Stars this spring, and weirdly, all of them are NFL players or former NFL players. You probably already recognize the names, but in case you aren’t a football fan,  former quarterback Doug Flutie is signed on, as is Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown and Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller. A lot of times professional athletes end up cross-training with some form of dancing, so a Dancing with the Stars appearance could actually prove to be helpful for the athletes. Also, it sounds like it would be an intense but fun way to stay in shape during the off-season.

I’d also like to point out that The O.C.’s Mischa Barton is making a comeback this year. The actress has had gigs since her time on The O.C., but she's probably most famous for having a breakdown at one point. She was court ordered to be placed under an involuntary psychiatric hold back in 2009. Since then, she’s gotten her life back together and should be making a big TV return during Season 22.

The rest of the cast is filled out with a reporter (Rivera), a Real housewife (Fields), a meteorologist (Zee), and America’s Next Top Model winner (DiMarco), a member of Boyz II Men (Wanya Morris) and an MMA fighter (VanZant). Obviously, some of these celebrities will end up being better at dancing than others, and we can’t wait to see how it all shakes out on March 21 at 8 p.m. ET, only on ABC. You can see what else the networks have coming up with our midseason TV premiere schedule
