New Hilarious Video Explains Why There Are So Many Bad Pokemon In Pokemon Go

It's no secret that there are a few critters in Pokemon Go that are, shall we say, rubbish. What can be frustrating to some players is how often those mostly useless Pokemon pop up on the world map. Thankfully, we now have a video that fully explains why there are so many Pidgeys and Ekans out in the wild.

Pretty funny, right? The above short clip is called "How Pokemon Go Spawns their commons," and it was recently posted to Youtube by user Nixolas. Other than thanking a couple of folks for their part in the creation of this video, though, there's no other background information provided.

And assuming you've played Pokemon Go, there's really no additional information needed.

In the clip, we see a whole bunch of Ekans, Pidgeys, Zubats and Rattata piling into a massive plane with the Niantic logo on it. Niantic, in case you're unfamiliar, is the studio behind this hugely popular mobile game.

A veritable ocean of these little bastards pile onto the plane, and then we're shown footage of those poop-Pokemon-loaded crafts soaring through the sky.

While airborne, a hatch opens and the less-than-desirable Pokemon Go critters pour into the great blue yonder before crashing down with a rather satisfying thud to the earth below. Due to all that wiggling, and the fact that those Pokemon are in abundant supply every-freaking-where, it's safe to say that the fall did not kill them.

It's a pretty funny video with some rather nifty special effects here and there. Viewers seem to agree, with plenty of comments commending the creator for this clever little piece of Pokemon Go criticism.

But while we can all have a laugh at these obnoxiously easy to find Pokemon's expense, it's important to note that they actually offer a really solid service in Pokemon Go.

Having a few Pokemon that are as abundant as this handful of pocket-sized monsters means you're going to be evolving your collection much more quickly. Sure, none of these are great for battle in their evolved form, but the simple act of evolving them serves as a nice boost to experience. The more experience you have, the faster you level up. The faster you level up, the sooner you'll be able to catch Pokemon at levels that are actually worth your time.

My advice: Never look a gift Pidgey in the mouth while playing Pokemon Go. Costing only 12 candies to evolve, these little birds are the easiest in-game critters to take to the next level, meaning loads of experience for those willing to "waste" some Pokeballs on them.

Anyway, this is only one person's conspiracy theory as to why the common Pokemon Go critters are so common. We'd love to hear your own ideas in the comments below.
