Maria Bello is about to become America’s new fatal attraction of record. She’s set to star in a new thriller called Downloading Nancy as a woman who hires a man to kill her. Production Weekly says the movie focuses on the deadly attraction between Nancy (Bello), an unhappy wife, and the man she meets over the Internet who agrees to kill her. As you might imagine, their relationship has problems.

Downloading Nancy is being directed by first time movie helmer, long time commercial and music video director Johan Renck. They’re supposed to start shooting on February 9th in Saskatchewan. If you live in Saskatchewan, it’s time to consider moving if it’s so cold there that your home can double as Antarctica.

Maria Bello was last seen in the horse movie Flicka, in 2006. Next she’ll star opposite Pierce Brosnan in the kidnapper movie Butterfly on a Wheel.
