The green light. The yellow roadster. The pink suit and the white dresses and the blue lawn where extravagant parties happen each Saturday. The Great Gatsby comes loaded with some of the strongest images and icons in American literature, and as Baz Luhrmann prepares to debut his adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald's classic novel, we're dying to see how they all look once they're up on the screen.
Can you really adapt a classic? Can Leonardo DiCaprio live up to the Gatsby we've had in our minds since 10th grade English class? Can the glamour and the decay of 1920s New York look as amazing as Fitzgerald described it? Tell us why you're looking forward to The Great Gatsby and we'll pick one winner and one grand prize winner at random. The contest ends at 12 am EST on Monday, May 13th.
