Kristen Stewart Confirms She'll Be Back For The Snow White And The Huntsman Sequel

Over the last six months or so there has been some confusion about whether or not Kristen Stewart would return for the sequel to Snow White and the Huntsman. Following the reveal of the actress' affair with director Ruben Sanders, there was a rumor floated that said she would not be coming back for the second film and that the second story would be turned into a spin-off with just The Huntsman, played by Chris Hemsworth. Universal Pictures quickly denied that rumor, saying that they were still exploring all options to continue the franchise.

But now the answer has finally been handed down. Stewart recently say down to speak with IndieWire and revealed that she is indeed still attached to headline Snow White and the Huntsman 2 (or whatever it ends up being called). While she wouldn't reveal what direction her character heads in during the next movie, she claims that it's "gonna be fuckin’ amazing" and that she's already gotten in trouble for saying too much about the project. Said the actress, "The other day I said that there was a strong possibility that we’re going to make a sequel, and that’s very true, but everyone was like, 'Whoa, stop talking about it.' So no, I’m totally not allowed to talk about it."

It was revealed last month that Sanders would not be coming back to helm the sequel, so don't expect this project to come off the ground any time soon. There's still plenty of work to be done and people to find to do it.
