As if Louisianans hadn’t already taken enough crap, now Hollywood’s sicking god on them. In Hilary Swank’s new movie The Reaping a Louisiana town is hit with a bout of the Biblical ten plagues. You know, frogs, locusts, water turned to blood, dead firstborns. The whole deal.
I like the idea of a movie with the ten plagues as a modern problem, but did it have to be set in Louisiana? It just seems like bad taste.
Whatever it is, it’s got a cool movie poster. Warner Brothers has just sent us the final one sheet for the film. The town in the background looks like it was yanked right of Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds. If that’s the vibe they’re going for, then thumbs up. Scroll down and see the new one sheet:
