Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake recently teamed up for Timberlake’s single “Suit & Tie,” and now the two men may be taking the show on the road. If you watched this year’s Grammy Awards, you’ve gotten a taste of what the two men will present if and when they tour together.
Yes, you read that correctly. On Tuesday, the NY Post broke the news that the famed rapper and producer and the talented actor and singer are set to produce a road show together. Timberlake first hinted at such magnificent news two days ago via Twitter.
“Big news coming out after Justin’s #Grammys performance. Stay tuned or you’ll miss it!”
Timberlake hasn’t officially confirmed the news yet, nor has Jay-Z, but after the Grammys, the 32-year-old singer did state on the red carpet, “We’re definitely going to go on tour.” Considering Timberlake and wife Jessica Biel sat next to Jay-Z and wife Beyoncé during the ceremony, this adds evidence to the fact that his touring partner will be the rapper and new father. Plus, now that Timberlake has put out a second single, “Mirrors,” he’s likely itching to hit the road, and deciding to tour with Jay-Z would definitely add a higher ticket price tag to the whole endeavor. I know I’m not alone when I say I would pay a pretty high number to see the two men take the stage in one night.
