Lindsay Lohan Allegedly A Suspect In Watch Theft

Lindsay Lohan has reportedly undergone a speedy transition from bystander to person of interest to suspect since cops were called to investigate a jewelry theft at a party she attended last weekend. It’s too early to say whether there’s a real possibility the actress could be arrested for this, but if she is, it’ll be both a personal and professional disaster given her history.

Last Sunday, Lohan, her assistant and two random dudes reportedly attended a party at the Hollywood Hills home of Sam Magid. The event lasted all night, and as guests were getting ready to leave the next morning, some watches and sunglasses were found to be missing. Police quickly descended on the scene, interviewed witnesses and then allowed everyone to leave.

A few days later, the owner of the house reportedly told police nothing was stolen and he wanted the investigation ended, but according to TMZ, cops are pushing forward because they allegedly have other witnesses who will say Lindsay and her assistant took the things. They’ve supposedly asked the actress to come in for an interview, only to have the request refused via her attorney.

With her acting career on an upswing and a recent gig in Playboy, Lohan should be flush with money. You’d like to think this is all a big misunderstanding, but I suppose we won’t know for sure until more facts start emerging. When they do, we will keep you updated.
