Weekly Recap May 14th: Modern Warfare 3 Trailers, Soul Calibur V, Hitman Absolution Announced

The second full week of May comes to a close and there’s still some problems with the PlayStation Network. As of the writing of this recap Sony was supposed to have Qriocity and PSN back up and running but the entire thing seems to be in critical condition as the company desperately tries to restore services that were hacked by…hackers. Amid the chaos of the past few weeks for Sony, Namco Bandai has announced a slew of new games including Soul Calibur V. Joining them in new game announcements Square Enix and Eidos have confirmed that Hitman: Absolution is also on the way and this time, it’s personal. Although, isn’t it always personal? Also new Modern Warfare 3 trailers have been released. These stories and more in this May 14th, 2011 edition of the Gaming Blend Weekly Recap.
