Weekly Recap Sept 1st: Metal Gear Movie Coming, Guild Wars 2 Sells 1 Million, Hawken On Consoles

August is done, it's over with...finito. With that said, August finished itself off with a bit of an explosive bang, giving us some great news about a brand new Final Fantasy XIII game to wrap up the trilogy. Hideo Kojima announced both a brand new Metal Gear Solid game as well as an inked deal with Columbia pictures to bring Solid Snake and the Foxhounds to the big screen with a movie. Hawken is expected to make an appearance for home consoles after its release on PC in December. And Guild Wars 2 manages to move more than a million copies over the weekend, not an easy feat.
