I'm starting to think that MySpace has just about had it, but while I wait for everyone else to come to that same realization they're actually doing something that's kind of cool for a change. They're starting something called MySpace's "Black Carpet" screening series.
Basically, you friend their Black Carpet page and you have a chance to win tickets to attend an advance movie premiere at one of dozens and dozens of different locations around the world.
They're kicking things off with Borat, who has himself just joined MySpace, becoming the second ever Kazakhi to be on MySpace. The first Black Carpet screening of his new film will take place around the world on September 20th, so if you want a shot at being there go be Borat's friend and discuss with him new methods of trapping gypsies, and then friend MySpace's Black Carpet page as well.
