The Doctor Strange Trailer Is Coming Very Soon, Find Out When And Where

We have seen the first trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and it’s not out until December. However, one of Disney’s other major divisions has yet to show us anything beyond a few still images of their major end of the year release. When we will we get to see the first trailer for Marvel's Doctor Strange? It turns out we’ll get our first look next week, as part of Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Next week is setting up to be full of Marvel stars on Jimmy Kimmel Live as a large chunk of the cast of Captain America: Civil War will be on hand to promote the next chapter of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In a fitting fashion, the show will bring on members of Team Captain America on Monday, and Team Iron Man on Wednesday. On Tuesday, however, Benedict Cumberbatch, who plays the lead in Doctor Strange will be on the show, and according to Entertainment Weekly, he’ll be bringing the film’s first trailer with him.

The trailer will come just a couple weeks after our most recent look at the film, which came through some pictures that were snapped while Doctor Strange shot some scenes on a public street in New York City. We’ve now had a chance to see Doctor Strange and Baron Mordo. Now we just need to see them in action.

While the MCU has given us our share of superpowers and space aliens, thus far it has not dealt very much with concepts of magic, which looks to make Doctor Strange a unique film in the MCU to this point. The team at Marvel has been telling us from nearly the beginning how visually different and interesting the movie will be. All this does is make us want to actually see it all the more. There’s a certain point when still images simply can’t relay what a couple minutes of motion can.

We've got some pretty high expectations for Doctor Strange but Marvel's track record of meeting, and exceeding them, has been pretty good up to this point. Are you excited to get your first look at Doctor Strange? Does the apparent shift in tone and topic may you more or less interested in Marvel’s next chapter? Let us know in the comments.
