Freida Pinto is pretty much the prettiest girl in the world right now, given how she dazzled everyone who saw Slumdog Millionaire with her bright smile and cruelly perfect skin. And she's been working that newfound Slumdog fame hard, signing up for movies, hiring a new agent-- and now, maybe, wooing James Bond as well.
The British tabloid The Sun reports that Pinto did a screen test for the role of the next Bond girl. Of course, this is a British tabloid, which means take it with a grain of salt, especially given that it's also reporting that Danny Boyle is being courted to take on the next Bond movie. Really? As a follow-up to Oscar?
Pinto as a Bond girl makes a lot more sense than Boyle directing the next movie, but again, this is all 100% rumor. Do we think Pinto is up to a role more challenging than Latika? And most importantly, how will she look holding a gun?
