Plenty Of Killing Going On In New Clip From Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter

It would seem that everything we thought we knew about Abraham Lincoln is completely false. While we all learned about the historic president in school and how he saved our country during the Civil War, it turns out that one very key detail was kept out of the history books: Lincoln was a vampire hunter. And judging by this new clip from the upcoming film Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter he's pretty damn good at what he does.

Yahoo! has premiered the new preview, which puts Honest Abe and his compatriot Will Johnson on the top of a train doing battle with all kids of undead baddies. It's not the most cohesive material you're going to watch today, but what can you do when you're editing multiple minutes of footage into just 65 seconds? View it below and watch out for that axe!

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is based on the novel by Seth Grahame-Smith (who also wrote the adaptation) and the film is directed by Timur Bekmambetov. Benjamin Walker stars as the president, while Dominic Cooper, Anthony Mackie, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, and Rufus Sewell play supporting roles. The movie will be released on June 22nd (that's next Friday!) and in the mean time you can read more about the project in our Blend Film Database.
