Tons Of Set Photos From Angels And Demons

There was an article in The New York Times the other day about how Roman businesses are counting on Angels & Demons to bring their city a ton of publicity, not to mention money. I'm starting to think that self-promotion is also the entire reason behind the Angels & Demons set photos that keep showing up on the Italian website Bad Taste. They all prominently feature locations in the city, but none of them really give us much in the way of plot.

Well... they give us a little, but not much we don't already know. A handful feature the Swiss Guard, the highly-trained protectors of the Vatican, and another features a nun. Tom Hanks and Ron Howard show up in three photos, all of them dong not much. The Vatican itself doesn't show up in any of these photos, of course, because the production didn't get permission to film there. So while they may be filming at various churches in the city-- identified in Italian on the site as "Piazza S. Bernardo, Biblioteca Angelica, Castl Sant'Angelo and Pantheon"-- if you don't recognize the names of the locations from the book, odds are those locations are stand-ins.

So check out a few images below, and head to Bad Taste to check out the full set if you're so inclined. But fair warning: Angels & Demons is about a whole lot of mysteries, but none of them are even remotely revealed in these photos.
