Miles Teller Involved In A Major Car Accident, This Time For Real

Miles Teller

Miles Teller seems to have bad luck with automobiles. While it's usually the character he plays that gets involved in major collisions, now it's the actor himself dealing with real life accidents. Just before Christmas Miles Teller and his girlfriend were reportedly in an accident that could have turned out much worse than it did.

On the morning of December 23, Miles Teller and his girlfriend model Keleigh Sperry were driving in the San Fernando Valley when, according to The Hollywood Reporter, they were cut off by an Uber driver. This resulted in Teller's Bronco rolling on its side. One Uber passenger was taken to the hospital with what are being called minor injuries while another complained of minor pain. Teller and Sperry appear to have been uninjured.

Miles Teller is no stranger to car accidents, though usually, they happen on a movie screen and not so much in real life. Both his 2014 Oscar hit Whiplash and this year's Bleed for This include Teller's character being involved in pretty serious car crashes. In Bleed for _This,_ the crash is the catalyst for the events of the film. In Whiplash, the accident leads into the film's finale. Luckily, in this case, the real accident wasn't nearly as bad for anybody involved as the on-screen versions.

While Miles Teller is happy that he and his girlfriend were able to walk away from the accident, he's also pretty pissed off about the whole thing. He laid into the Uber driver on Twitter for her actions that led to the accident. It's not clear exactly what the driver was doing though one would think that she's well aware of her actions if they led to injuries to her passengers as well as rolling another vehicle.

It appears that, all things considered, all of the people walked away, which is a good thing. We're guessing somebody probably won't be driving around Uber fares much longer, which is likely the best move for everybody. We can imagine that car rolling on its side is a terrifying experience that should really only be seen in the movies.
