See How Many Han Solo Cast Members Fit Into The Millennium Falcon's Cockpit

We knew that the upcoming, and still untitled Han Solo Star Wars Story recently began filming. However, we had yet to see any of the cast on the set. While we're still going to have to wait to see them in costume, we've now had our first taste of them all in a very familiar place. The majority of the actors in the new film, including Alden Ehrenreich, Donald Glover, Emilia Clarke, and more have crammed themselves into the Millennium Falcon's cockpit. This movie just got crowded.

The cast of the Han Solo Star Wars Story on board the Millennium Falcon

While not in costume we do get our first look at what Alden Ehrenreich will look like as the young Han Solo. His hair is certainly very different than it was the last time we saw him in Hail, Caesar. We have to say that while he's not a dead ringer for a young Harrison Ford, there is certainly enough a resemblance to make this movie work. He's joined by Donald Glover who will play Lando Calrissian, apparently with a beard, maybe, and Woody Harrelson, along with Emilia Clarke, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, and, the only person in costume, Joonas Suotamo who will be taking on the role of Chewbacca. They're joined in the Falcon by directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller.

Unfortunately, it appears that one major cast member wasn't able to fit on the famous spacecraft. We're short one Thandie Newton who has been announced as being in the film, and is mentioned in the official filming announcement on StarWars.com, but is nowhere to be found in this picture.

We're certainly looking forward to getting more news about this film now that filming is underway. We have to say that Alden Ehrenreich is looking pretty good as Han Solo. While we're not entirely sure how much younger the character is supposed to be in the new movie, we can totally buy this as the way the smuggler looked a few years before he was found in a Mos Eisley Cantina. What do you think?

Alden Ehrenreich and Harrison ford as Han Solo

Also, while the film remains officially untitled, StarWars.com is referring to the movie as the "Untitled Han Solo Star Wars Story" using the same nomenclature that they introduced with Rogue One. It would appear then that the film could have a title as simple as Han Solo: A Star Wars Story, which works, even if it's not particularly exciting.

Beyond Alden Ehrenreich and Donald Glover, we don't know much about who any of these other actors will be playing. The word is Woody Harrelson will be playing Han Solo's mentor, but even that detail as yet to be officially confirmed by Disney. Do you like the look of the new cast?
