It's less than a month until the highly anticipated Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 hits theaters, which means the marketing campaign is in full swing. Not only have there been a number of trailers, TV spots, interviews, and magazine articles, but now we've got a new international trailer that shows off quite a bit new footage. The trailer offers plenty of the team dynamic that viewers love, the newbies, Baby Groot, and (of course) underpants. If you're at all worried about spoilers, I wouldn't stress about it -- unless you speak German, that is.

This international trailer is entirely in German, but it's still an enjoyable watch! If anything, the foreign language just helps preserve some of the jokes while just being fun to listen to. When else are you going to hear Star-Lord say "Wunderbar, Rocket!"

The trailer follows a similar format as previous ones, and is cut to the song "Fox on the Run," which climbed to the top of iTunes after that trailer first dropped. We see plenty of familiar footage and faces, such as Drax, Gamora, plenty of Rocket, and Yondu, as well as newbies like Mantis and former enemy Nebula. And what would a Vol. 2 trailer be without Baby Groot, who's just as adorable as ever. It seems he somehow found a pair of underpants too, which I guess is the only clothing item that's the same no matter what galaxy you're in.

It's an incredibly fun trailer for what will no doubt be a very fun film. The Marvel Studios sequel is one of the rare films to gain a perfect score in audience testings, which are not always reflective of the film, but should give a good idea of how excited people are for this movie. The first Guardians of the Galaxy expanded the MCU into the cosmos, and audiences fell in love with the rag-tag group of criminals turned heroes. The movie had heart, humor, and was a blast to watch. By all accounts, Vol. 2 seems to double up on each of those.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is written and directed by James Gunn. The story picks up a few months after the original film, with the Guardians are still getting into the swing of their new status quo. The group soon takes on a job that puts them on a collision course with a nefarious enemy, and leads Star-Lord to learn the truth about his parentage. The film stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Rocket Raccoon, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, and Kurt Russell as Ego the Living Planet.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is expected to soar into theaters on May 5, 2017. To learn more about the film check out What We Know So Far.
