Which Nude Shoots Cindy Crawford Regrets

Cindy Crawford Fair Game

Cindy Crawford holds some regrets. The veteran model got honest in a recent magazine cover story, discussing her home life and her thoughts on the modeling industry. During the conversation, Crawford confessed there were times in her lustrous career where she didn't feel comfortable doing nude shoots. Now, she regrets not turning them down-- particularly as a mother. Crawford wishes she took those moments to instead empower her children.

Cindy Crawford got confessional about her history of nude shoots in Town & Country's upcoming May issue. Here's what Crawford told the magazine.

I've done nude photos, lots. The only ones I regretted were the ones that I kind of got talked into. I don't want my children to ever look back and think, 'Gosh, I wish I hadn't done that.' I want to empower them to just say, 'I'm outta here.'

The topic came up when Cindy Crawford talked about the #MeToo movement and reflected on her long modeling career and her family life with her husband, Rande Gerber, and her two children, 18-year-old Presley and 16-year-old Kaia. Crawford is thankful she doesn't have a painful story to share like many in the movement.

I'm really lucky, because I don't have a #MeToo story. As far as being a mother of two, young people going into fashion, of course I worry. But let's be honest, my kids are blessed in that business because they aren't coming in as unknowns. People will know I will come after them if they mess with my kids.

Cindy Crawford is incredibly thankful for her family, as it's made clear here. She admits that she's the type of parent who is always checking in on her children, catching up at every available moment. Her kids, particularly her daughter, have likely gotten used to her barrage of calls and texts.

We talk every day, at least, and text. If she doesn't text me back within 15 minutes, I do one in all caps and a lot of exclamation points. 'Just respond, OK? Or else I'm going to track you through your Uber account.'

Helicopter mom much? Thankfully, it's all from a place of love. Cindy Crawford clearly holds a great deal of admiration for her family, and she doesn't seem to regret the decisions that brought her to where she is today, especially if she's still celebrating a career in modeling at 52 years young. But as she notes above, no career is lead without regrets. While Cindy Crawford doesn't have a ton, she does have a few, at least, about her time spent away from her clothes. In any case, hopefully, Crawford uses opportunities like this interview to continue empowering her children in all their decisions in life.

Cindy Crawford was last seen in a Pepsi commercial during this year's Super Bowl. While she doesn't approve of all her nude choices, she at least seems pretty content with the time last year where she recreated one of her most famous music videos during a segment on Spike's Lip Sync Battle.
