How Kylie Jenner Came Up With The Name Stormi
Until 2018, Stormi wasn't exactly a name you saw every day. But that changed in February (beyond all the recent headlines with Stormy Daniels) when Kylie Jenner gave birth to her first daughter. The name choice is an unusual one, it's safe to admit, but Kylie Jenner recently offered an explanation as to why she went with it. As Kylie elaborated in an interview with her sister, Kim Kardashian West, the decision doesn't have an exact source, but the name Stormi nevertheless "stuck" with her and it ultimately felt right for the newborn child. Here's how she explained it to Kim Kardashian when it came up.
Kylie Jenner's conversational interview with Kim Kardashian West for Evening Standard focused a great deal on Kylie's recent experiences as a mom. Since the pregnancy was kept a secret from the public for months until she delivered the child on Super Bowl weekend, this interview is one of the first times Kylie Jenner has opened up, personally and publicly, about her newfound adventures in motherhood. They discussed her anxieties, her early challenges, and how her perspective on life has changed since becoming a mother. Even though it's not without its struggles, she finds the experience "amazing."
So, thankfully, Kylie Jenner is still enjoying the bliss of motherhood. And when it comes to Stormi's name, this interview is not the first time the unique choice of name choice has come up. Nevertheless, Kylie Jenner still thinks the name fits, and it's certainly a memorable one -- even in a family that is known for its unorthodox name choices. Also, Kylie Jenner admits at the end of the interview that she has no regrets in life.
Beyond this interview, Kylie Jenner made headlines recently (as per usual) when she gave Travis Scott, her boyfriend and Stormi's father, the birthday of a lifetime when she rented out all of Six Flags Magic Mountain this past Saturday for their own personal use. Talk about one awesome birthday gift.
