The Backstreet Boys Dressed Up Like The Spice Girls, And It's '90s Heaven

The Backstreet Boys are back, though not exactly how you remember them. On the boy band's BSB Cruise, the singers celebrated girl power in a major way when they dressed up as the signature Spice Girls. Celebrating 25 years of music-making, the Backstreet Boys wanted to step up their game and pay tribute in the most glamorous way possible. Well, it certainly got our attention. Take a look below.

That's certainly an interesting way to give us our long-awaited Spice Girls reunion. As seen in the Instagram post, the Backstreet Boys recent hit the hit seas last week during their recent cruise venture, which ran from May 3rd-7th and traveled from Miami to Grand Turk, and their elaborate celebration of the Spice Girls was one of several ways they kept their fans and fellow cruisers entertained during the sea trip. But that wasn't the full extent of their tribute. The Boys also sang two Spice Girls tunes, "Say You'll Be There" and "Wannabe" while glittered up and dressed to the nines in their make-up and costumes. In case you were wondering, Kevin Richardson was Posh Spice, Brian Littrell was Sporty Spice, Howie Dorough was Ginger Spice, AJ McLean was Scary Spice and Nick Carter was Baby Spice.

If you were wondering if video of the Backstreet Boys' performance as the Spice Girls made its way online, then you're in luck! Some footage of the Spice Boys went onto social media, which you can check out below.

Meanwhile, the BBS Cruise isn't the only recent business venture for the '90s band. In addition to singing on the seven seas, the boy band is also planning to open their own BBQ joint, called Backstreet Barbecue, which is expected to open sometime in the near future. They have the paper work filled out and everything, so it should only be a matter of time. They are also looking to join the tequila game.

Meanwhile, the Spice Girls reunion might possibly be around the corner. As Mel B. hinted on The Real a couple months ago, the girls have been formally invited to the Royal Wedding between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, and there's a possibility that the Spice Girls will be performing during the reception. If that's the case, then that'll be their first concert together in ages. We hope some video leaks for it.

Regardless, we appreciate the Backstreet Boys adding extra spice to their music. We'll keep an eye out for the next time the Backstreet Boys are back.
