Kim Kardashian Reveals How She Reacted To Kanye West Exposing Their Marital Drama on Ye

Kim Kardashian West Keeping Up with the Kardashians Kanye West Charlamagne da God Interview

Last week, after months of hype and controversial social media statements, Kanye West finally released his newest studio album, previously rumored to be called Love Everyone, but ultimately titled ye. The generally well-regarded eighth album from the notorious rapper is a minor effort in the spirit of his 2010 concept album masterpiece My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, where Kanye West addresses his mental disorders and his troubled relationship with the public and the media. Among the album's most-discussed tracks is "Won't Leave," where Kanye talks about the aftermath of some of his recent criticized comments, and how that damaged his famous marriage to Kim Kardashian West. While we've obviously heard Kanye's side of the story, we haven't heard from Kim Kardashian West ... until now.

In an exclusive interview with Entertainment Tonight, Kim Kardashian West spoke openly about the new Kanye West song. Kim Kardashian West said she normally doesn't reveal her relationship drama to the public, but admits there has been martial drama, and that things aren't always smooth sailing -- as Kanye West admits in the tune.

Did I cry about it? Did I fight about it? Yeah. That's not stuff we put on social media -- I'm not going to start tweeting what my thoughts are, but we have those moments and that was the one song that he didn't really play for me until the last minute, so I heard that last minute and it meant a lot to me.

In the newly-released song, Kanye West talks about his much-publicized comments where he claimed that "slavery was a choice." Kim Kardashian West hasn't spoken out about this topic on her social media, but "Won't Leave'" suggests she was very upset about the whole ordeal, and that Kanye West reportedly have Kim the option to leave their relationship. Here are the lyrics.

They say, 'Build your own' -- I said, 'How Sway?'/ I said, 'Slavery a choice' -- they said, "How, Ye?/ Just imagine if they caught me on a wild day/ Now I'm on fifty blogs gettin' fifty calls/ My wife callin', screamin', say, 'We 'bout to lose it all!' / Had to calm her down 'cause she couldn't breathe / Told her she could leave me now, but she wouldn't leave.

Kim Kardashian West and especially Kanye West have remained open about their struggles while living in the spotlight. With Kim Kardashian West, these concerns are brought out through Keeping Up with the Kardashians. With Kanye West, these problems are often plugged into his music, as they were with ye. Nevertheless, Kim and Kanye remain a couple. Recently, Kim Kardashian West discussed why she believes they make such a good match, even during their turbulent times. Here's what she said earlier this year.

He's taught me to have more of an opinion. I've taught him to be a bit more calm or cautious. We're a good balance.

There will always be ups-and-downs for Kanye West and Kim Kardashian West. That's what comes with any marriage, especially one as discussed as their relationship. Nevertheless, they remain together. And we'll keep you posted for all their high points and low points here at Cinemablend.
