Justin Bieber Explains Those Photos Of Him Crying With Hailey Baldwin

Justin Bieber VMAs 2015

Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin have only been romantically interloped for a short period of time, but it has already become a whirlwind relationship. In a quickly-escalating series of events that might give Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson pause, the pop singer and the model were dating for roughly a month when Bieber got down on one knee and popped the question in the Bahamas. The details surrounding their relationship have since been vague, with some fans believing the couple already got married in secret. Even more questions were raised when Baldwin and Bieber were spotted by the paparazzi crying together in the middle of a bike ride. When asked why the tears were shed, Bieber claimed it was part of the emotional journey he's embarked on with his new partner. And he believes they'll be met with days both good and bad, but they hope to make it work.

When TMZ caught up with Justin Bieber and asked the pop star what was going on during those intimate, vulnerable photos, the "Don't Cry" singer pulled up a book he was holding, The Meaning of Marriage: Facing the Complexities of Commitment with the Wisdom of God by Timothy Keller with Kathy Keller, and Bieber explained how it was simply a "bad day" in the long-winded road known as marriage. Evidently, Justin Bieber has gotten a bit philosophical of late, and the road to marriage is apparently leading the 24-year-old pop musician to get more intuned with his emotions and feelings.

Here's Justin Bieber exact quote on the matter. While he's getting more open and communicative about his feelings, Biebs isn't ready to divulge what broken him down that day. Or, at least, he's not looking to discuss those feelings with TMZ. Either way, we're only left with the following quote for now.

You got good days and you got bad days. It's not real if it doesn't have any bad days.

And that's all Justin Bieber has to say (for now) about the matter. Like he suggests, however, it's a windy road to marriage. It's never going to be sunshine and roses all the day, and it's not going to be all dark and gloomy either (hopefully). While some people might've thought the musician was being hasty in his quick proposal, Bieber seems to be taking the marriage life seriously. he's reading about it, he's learning about it, he's opening up about it. And he's hoping to move into that journey of his life more thought and responsibility than he has with other things in his life, one could say.

Meanwhile, Justin Bieber also got the blessing of Stephen Baldwin, Hailey Baldwin's father, before he asked for his daughter's hand in marriage. And while it was a surprise to even Justin Bieber's bodyguards when the musician asked the big question, the chart-topping musician is taking it seriously. Meanwhile, we'll continue to provide more updates on Justin Bieber right here at CinemaBlend.
