Eminem Wrote His Own Diss Track For Machine Gun Kelly

The feud between Eminem and Machine Gun Kelly continues to be blazing hot. The rappers haven't been playing nice with each other, notably within the past few weeks, as tensions continue to mount and each rap artist uses their music to throw taunts and targeted insults at the other person. It's believed the feud started a few years earlier when Machine Gun Kelly felt diminished by Eminem and therefore threw insults at Eminem's daughter, Hailie. But Eminem reportedly didn't know about these insults until years later, and he responded accordingly by lashing his own comments at MGK on his surprise studio album, Kamikaze, where Em threw verbal grenades at seemingly everyone and anyone. But MGK decided to take things one step further, producing his own diss track, "Rap Devil," which is a pun on Eminem's single "Rap God." Now, Eminem has his own diss track towards MGK.

The diss track from Eminem, titled "Killshot," is the rapper's response to the much-heard diss track that Machine Gun Kelly released only a few days after the release of Kamikaze. While Eminem was initially hesitant to get involved in a feud with MGK, believing that Em's influence would only balloon the interest of an artist he doesn't care for (or about), Em's stark feelings on the matter evidently changed with this newest diss track. A mere day before the song made its way onto the Internet, Eminem commented on the growing feud between him and Machine Gun Kelly. Here's what he said in an ongoing conversation with Sway, where Em admitted that he doesn't give a hoot about MGK (or so he says). Rather, Em wants to let the fellow musician know that he could care less about the bitter, petty feelings of resentment that Kelly clearly feels towards his one-time music idol.

The biggest takeaway from "Killshot" is that this diss track isn't even Eminem at his maddest. If anything, he's annoying and ticked off, and he's trying to set a musician he sees as inferior to him (and his rap legacy) down a few pegs. If MGK decides to provoke Eminem more about this point, particularly if he releases a follow-up diss track, then we might truly see Eminem unleash his angry side. And if he gets Dr. Dre involved, Em might produce a diss track that's truly blistering. As it stands, though, this feud between these two rappers seems petty more than anything else right now.
