Alec Baldwin Marries Hilaria Thomas In Front Of Celebrity Friends

The lead-up to Alec Baldwin’s wedding may have been beset by two ugly shouting matches with photographers, but all that hostility was a distant memory this evening as the actor looked his beautiful new wife, Hilaria Thomas, in the eyes and said, “I do.”

According to The New York Daily News, the ceremony took place at the beautiful St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral, best known for also hosting the baptism scene in The Godfather. High profile celebrities such as Tina Fey, Lorne Michaels, Woody Allen and, of course, Baldwin’s brothers were in attendance, and by all accounts, everyone had a lovely time.

Not surprisingly, a big effort was made to keep uninvited guests and more specifically, members of the paparazzi out. A full security team was reportedly in place hours before the wedding began, and a large tent was erected to block any prying eyes from seeing inside the back of the church.

At the conclusion of the church portion, guests headed over to the Kimmel Center at New York University for the reception. Few details have emerged about what went down there, but over the next few days, plenty of guests will likely spill secrets and stories about the celebration.

Pop Blend’s congratulations go out to Baldwin and Thomas as they embark on a new life together. May it be filled with plenty of happiness and ideally, less cameras.
