Gwyneth Paltrow Admits Botox Made Her Look Crazy

Gwyneth Paltrow looks pretty glamorous on the brand new cover of Harper’s Bazaar’s May issue, but that level of beauty takes plenty of work, and we’re not just talking exercise. While the 40-year-old mother and actress clearly stays pretty fit, those defined cheekbones and the lack of wrinkles had some help.

Paltrow is set to star in the upcoming Iron Man 3 release and she admits to the magazine there’s a scene where she continues to lose clothing until she is eventually wearing a bra and underwear. Shooting the experience wasn’t too horrible, thanks to already having a pretty rocking body.

"There are certain requirements, but luckily I have a good base because I work out often. I just had to not eat pasta and french fries the night before shooting—which I'm terrible at doing."

Sometimes cutting out carbohydrates isn’t enough, however. Paltrow also exfoliates every evening and uses other products, including lasers, to continue to look fresh and appealing.

"I've probably tried everything. I would be scared to go under the knife, but you know, talk to me when I'm 50. I'll try anything. Except I won't do Botox again, because I looked crazy. I looked like Joan Rivers!"

That yin and yang balance between french fries and botox can be difficult to achieve, especially for an actress and mother on the go. However, Paltrow comes off like a capable and content woman, and Pop Blend would like to wish her the best as she moves forward with hubby Chris Martin and children Moses and Apple, whether or not the lasers are along for the ride.
