Melissa Joan Hart Is Pregnant For The 3rd Time
She might be best known to fans as Clarissa Darling or Sabrina Spellman, but when she’s at home with her kids, Melissa Joan Hart plays an entirely different role. The thirty-six-year-old has been married to musician Mark Wilkerson for almost a decade, and together, they have two sons named Mason and Brady. Now, the couple is set to add a third child to the mix.
The pregnancy news went public yesterday thanks to a delightful photo the actress shared of her two boys, her husband and a noticeably rotund stomach. The caption offered a happy (early) birthday to herself and said “baby makes 3”. Beyond the basic confirmation itself, no further details like due date or sex have yet been offered, but in time, I’m sure those specifics will come. Until then, the bigger question on many fans’ minds will be how the upcoming season of her show Melissa & Joey will shoot around the baby bump.
Season two is set to premiere at the end of May, which means Hart will be shooting as her midsection continues to grow. It’s highly unlikely producers will elect to write the pregnancy into the show; so, expect to see a lot of strange angles and sweaters.
Still, annoying as it might be for the cameramen, one would assume no one is anything but pleased for Hart. By most accounts, she’s always been a well-behaved and pleasant woman, and the arrival of the new baby should make her even more family oriented. Pop Blend sends out its congratulations to Hart, as well as her husband.
