Woman Claims Chris Brown Stole Her iPhone

The Miami Beach Police Department is an investigating a woman’s claim that Chris Brown stole her iPhone near a local nightclub. The twenty-four year old told police she was outside hotspot Cameo when she noticed Brown walking toward his Bentley. She followed him and was in the process of snapping a picture on her cell when he grabbed the phone from her and reportedly said, “Bitch, you ain’t gonna put that on no website.” The atrocious grammar and aggressive tone likely would have been forgiven were it not for the fact that Brown then drove off with the iPhone still in his possession.

At least that’s the woman’s side of the story. As of press time, Brown is yet to comment publicly on the matter, but if the police investigation does turn up clues verifying the lady’s claim, this incident could lead to a more than just a slap on the wrist. According to TMZ, the singer is still on probation for the domestic violence incident with Rihanna; so, if something materializes here, it could be ruled a probation violation, which would send him to jail. That hypothetical is still a long way off since Brown has not been arrested for the incident, but the authorities in LA apparently are being kept abreast of the situation by the Miami Beach PD.

On the one hand, I understand Brown’s frustration with having his picture taken. It’s an invasion of privacy, and I’m sure it gets old. On the other hand, if this actually did happen, he needs to be smarter. Much of the general public still holds a grudge over the ugly domestic assault, and he should know people are watching him closely. Plus, taking someone’s iphone is just poor form.

If anything about this alleged theft is actually proven, we’ll keep you updated.
