Young Justice: Outsiders Trailer Features Batman, Superboy, Nightwing, And More

A new trailer for Young Justice: Outsiders has arrived, and Season 3 looks as awesome and exciting as the superhero series ever looked. There are heroes in just about every frame in this fresh look at the DC Universe series, with Batman, Superboy, Nightwing and others taking center stage to bring down a nefarious plot regarding metahumans. Check it out!
It looks like a few members of the Justice League will be there for the ride alongside the core team and "The Outsiders" as they all collaborate to take on metahuman-trafficking. Batman, Katana, and Metamorpho are seen together in one sequence, and Wonder Woman is seen in a hologram image early on. Meanwhile, Conner and Dick are busting up rafficking operations and trying to put a stop to countries exploiting superpowered individuals' powers in order to weaponize them.
Young Justice: Outsiders will take other members to different parts of the galaxy, apparently, as Bart Allen notes he and Wonder Girl are off on a mission "in space." That's about all we see regarding what they're up to, which may mean their story doesn't get as much screen time as Conner and Dick's. That said, one would think Bart and Wonder Girl's story picks up in importance given the events of Season 2, which teased the introduction of Darkseid.
As for new characters introduced, there aren't many here that weren't previously seen in the trailer released at San Diego Comic Con. We do get a look at a guy bursting into lava, however; he appears to be Prince Brion Markov or Geo-Force.We also get a quick shot of what appears to be Clayface, which adds to the ever-growing list of DC heroes and villains set to appear.
That said, this new footage still left out a few faces that viewers have been anxious to see. Aqualad, Miss Martian, and Wally West have still yet to make an appearance. That's completely understandable for the latter of those three, of course, although there's been skepticism regarding whether or not Wally truly sacrificed himself for the good of the team. That's my hope anyway, as a season with a mopey Artemis doesn't sound like the best thing in the world.
The release of Young Justice: Outsiders won't be the only thing Young Justice fans can expect to arrive on DC Universe, as DC revealed a prequel comic will be released to subscribers in the two days before its the season's premiere. Additionally, "enhanced" versions of Young Justice's episodes from Season 1 and 2 will be available and will contain commentary from cast members, crew, and other "DC experts." Those will show up every Tuesday From December 4 through the 25.
It all leads up to the premiere of Young Justice: Outsiders, which will debut its first batch of episodes Friday, January 4 on DC Universe.
