Have you been trying to figure out how Game of Thrones may end for your favorite character? Well, you are definitely not alone. Prepare for a fresh burst of clues and potential insight, for Peter Dinklage has revealed that he correctly guessed how things would end for Tyrion. Yes, it's possible! Dinklage said:

I had all these ideas in my head and a version of one of them is how it ends up [for Tyrion]. David and Dan have a brilliant version of what I had. If I use any adjectives it will give it away. But I love how it ended up. And how it ends up for everybody. They had a beautiful gentle touch with some, and a hard touch with others.

Mighty impressive! A version of one of the ideas that Peter Dinklage proposed for how things end for Tyrion actually comes true! For those worrying about Tyrion's fate, there is a seemingly positive sign, since Peter Dinklage told EW that he loved what he found at the end of Game of Thrones’ script. He probably wouldn't love reading about Tyrion getting his head ripped off by the Night King or anything like that.

The actor was careful not to give anything away regarding the exact nature of Tyrion’s ending. However, Peter Dinklage did say that some Game of Thrones characters’ endings will have harder touches than others, which is to be expected. And from the sound of things, perhaps Tyrion’s beloved queen may endure the latter.

The tension was high for Peter Dinklage while waiting to find out if any of his guesses were correct. That is because he did something that he has never done before in all of Game of Thrones' previous seasons. Dinklage explained, saying:

This is the first time ever that I didn’t skip to the end [of the script]. Why? I was probably terrified. We all feel we’re the leads of our own show. As the seasons have gone on, we’ve all thought how it’s going to end. Who’s going to be alive? If you die, how do you die?

That must have taken some hard-fought patience, as Peter Dinklage revealed he refrained from jumping ahead to spoil whether or not Tyrion survives. He instead opted to let his reading experience unfold organically. Unlike many shows, Game of Thrones is famous for its no-one-is-safe edge, so the actors have long been aware that any scene could turn into one of their characters' death scenes.

The wonder of Season 8 has been something that Peter Dinklage has commented on before. When discussing Tyrion and Jaime’s scenes in Game of Thrones’ final season, he described them as “beautiful.” All of this sounds poignant and affecting, so I’m in!

I am definitely curious to see this ending. Will Tyrion’s sister, Cersei, be one of the characters on the receiving end of the “hard touch” that Peter Dinklage described? Can Tyrion be one of the few characters to get an uplifting ending? He deserves one, in my opinion.

Tyrion enters the season with fresh memories of what he witnessed between Jon Snow and Daenerys as he saw Jon going into Daenerys’ room. Tyrion’s seemingly sad expression led fans to ask a lot of questions. Specifically, whether Tyrion’s feelings for Daenerys went beyond the platonic and into the romantic.

Peter Dinklage has since weighed in about what was going through Tyrion’s mind when he saw their interaction. But will a love triangle emerge? Daenerys and Jon Snow’s relationship should be short-lived upon learning they are related. Of course, you never know with these characters.

Tyrion deserves some significant happiness. He has more than earned it. I’m still holding out hope he will end up being the one on the Iron Throne. He has what it takes.

Find out how things end up for Tyrion when Game of Thrones returns to HBO this Sunday, April 14, at 9 p.m. ET.
