90 Day Fiancé: What Now? left Corey and Evelin in a real bad place in its latest episode, and there was some question regarding whether or not the two would actually go through with the marriage. Corey ended up offering Evelin an ultimatum (as most of these couples seem to do) that he would end the relationship if she backed out of the marriage, and as expected, Evelin did not take the news well.
Evelin told Corey she would've never agreed to engagement had she known he was going to push her into marriage sooner rather than later, and the two ended the call. A promo for the following week's episode shows Evelin has been going out a lot while Corey's in the U.S. and, despite his wishes, continuing to hang out with her ex-lover Raul who still has feelings for her. Viewers may want to know if the couple is still together now, and while the answer is pretty complicated, it seems the short answer is yes.
Speculation first surfaced that the couple split in late March after Evelin posted a cryptic and now-deleted Instagram post. After reading the caption Evelin posted (via InTouch) while in quarantine in Ecuador with Corey, it's easy to see why 90 Day Fiancé: What Now? viewers thought these two were done.
Quarantine is not easy, but I’m so lucky to be here. I can’t give you details about my relationship right now. Is not easy what I go through and is definitely harder in times like this, but I look forward [to] everything getting better and this [being] over.
Evelin's former friend Laura Jallali threw some additional speculation on the news, claiming two major things. The first was that the couple was going through trouble due to infidelity and the second was that the two had secretly wed at some point and were continuing to play it as if they're engaged on the show. Corey immediately shot down the rumors Jallali alleged, adding that she had no idea what was happening in the relationship.
With that being said, it has been confirmed by legal documents that at least one of those things is true. Evelin's legal status lists her as married (via Soapdirt). Furthermore, the two seem to be having a blast in Ecuador as of early May, as they're both collaboratively posting magic tricks for friends and followers while in quarantine together.
So, if Corey and Evelin are having fun in quarantine, and possibly secretly married, what is all the drama about? That shouldn't be a huge question to those who have watched the two on 90 Day Fiancé know things can often get contentious between them. Regardless of what the truth is behind any rumors that have surfaced since the show, it appears that right now the two are doing fine -- which is more than I can say about some other couples in quarantine.
