Ever since its debut in the spring of 2005, The Office has continued to be one of the most popular and watched shows, even seven years after we all said goodbye to the folks at the Dunder Mifflin Paper Company Scranton branch. One of the reasons for the show's dominance of pop culture is the fact that it's constantly streaming on various online platforms, most notably Netflix. But with so much uncertainty about where people will be able to watch The Office streaming in the future, some are probably wondering right now where they'll be able to find their favorite episode in the future.

Below is a breakdown of everywhere you can watch The Office streaming right now and in the future, as well as where you can catch the original UK version after putting it off all these years.

How To Watch The Office Streaming On Netflix

The Office was already one of the most popular television comedies of all time before it debuted on Netflix, but there is no doubt the streaming service helped turn the show into an absolute juggernaut, even 15 years after it premiered on NBC. If you want to join the millions of subscribers who are currently plowing through all 200+ episodes of The Office, all you have to do is log into your Netflix account (or sign up if you don't have one), open the drop-down search menu, and search for it there. Otherwise, you can also just go through the home screen and you'll find it in no time at all.

If you're ever traveling outside of the country and would like to access your regular Netflix queue, you can do so using a VPN. It should be noted, however, The Office will only be available on Netflix through the end of 2020, as the agreement between the streaming platform and NBC expires at the start of the new year. But where is The Office going? Funny you should ask…

How To Watch The Office Streaming On Peacock

Starting on January 1, 2021, you'll no longer be able to watch The Office on Netflix, but fear not, the popular comedy series will soon have a new home on the NBCUniversal streaming service Peacock. The platform, which was launched in April 2020, has multiple subscription tiers including one that costs absolutely nothing (limited selection and video ads), a premium version (includes everything but also has some ads), and then a premium plus option (ads are only on a small selection of titles), so there will be plenty of ways to enjoy The Office once it shifts over to Peacock. On the day of its arrival, subscribers will be able to log into their account and watch The Office, which will undoubtedly be featured front and center on the home screen.

Everyone with a Peacock account (free, premium, premium plus) will be able to enjoy the first two seasons of The Office starting New Years Day, but only those members with a premium or premium plus account will be able to enjoy everything from Season 3 onward. Peacock members with those two higher tier subscription options will get some added bonuses to make their latest marathon of The Office one they'll never forget.

Peacock Will Give Fans Unreleased Footage From The Office

When The Office moves over to Peacock in January 2021, fans of the show will also be able to enjoy previously unseen footage from the show, which is a major get for those die-hard fans who have seen everything, well almost everything. These "Superfan" versions will incorporate deleted scenes for extended cuts of episodes starting with The Office Season 3 on New Years Day with more episodes coming in March 2021. During a conversation with Bloomberg in July 2020, Peacock chairman Matt Strauss had this to say about the additions:

We will be reintroducing The Office in a more complete way, incorporating elements that were not part of the original broadcast.

In addition to those episodes, premium and premium plus subscribers will also be able to enjoy behind-the-scenes footage, curated themed collections, and The Office Zen, a 24/7 channel on Peacock featuring ambient noise from Dunder Mifflin Scranton while they work from home.

How To Watch The U.K. Version Of The Office On Streaming

There are probably even some die-hard fans of The Office out there who have never seen a single episode of the original U.K. version of the comedy series and live in a constant state of anxiety whenever the show is mentioned in conversation. Well, you can kiss your anxiety goodbye (at least the kind that's brought on by nearly 20-year-old British comedies). There are currently multiple ways of enjoying the original version of The Office first created by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant at the turn of the 21st Century.

The U.K. Office Streaming On Hulu

You can enjoy both seasons (plus the two-part Christmas special) of The Office on Hulu with your regular Hulu account and no secondary add-ons. All you need to do is log into your Hulu account (or subscribe to create a new one) and search for The Office (U.K.) and the series will be the second option (the American version of The Office through Hulu's Live TV option is the first). After that, you'll be watching some of the most inventive television of the past 20 years in no time at all.

The U.K. Office Streaming On Amazon

If you don't have a Hulu account but are subscribed to Amazon Prime, then you will also be able to enjoy the U.K. version of The Office for no additional charge, though there are some add-ons that we will get into shortly. Like with Hulu and Netflix, all you have to do is open Amazon and search for The Office (U.K.) and you'll be met with multiple options to choose from. The version you want should be the second title listed, so just click on the "Watch Now" button to start the show from the very beginning.

The U.K. Office Streaming On Topic

The first Amazon add-on option to enjoy the U.K. version of The Office is Topic, a streaming service launched by First Look Media in 2019. When you're looking for this version of The Office, search for the show on Amazon and then click on the third option. After that, click on the "Subscribe and Watch" button and then you'll be given the option to watch on Topic.

If you want to check out The Office, as well as countless other titles on the service, you can start a 7-day free trial through your Amazon account. Once the trial runs out, your Amazon account will be charged $4.99/month.

The U.K. Office Streaming On Brit Box

The second Amazon add-on option to check out the entirety of the U.K. version of The Office is BritBox, the streaming service launched by BBC and ITV in 2017. As the name suggests, BritBox features thousands of hours of movies, shows, and other programs from across the pond, including a rather robust selection of Doctor Who episodes split up by each of the first seven versions of the Time Lord himself.

To enjoy The Office, you'll just through the extra channel, all you will need to do is follow the same prompts as with Topic, but this time click on the BritBox option to enjoy. This will give you a 7-day free trial to the service, but you will be billed $6.99/month following the conclusion of your first week.

Those are the main places to watch both versions of The Office streaming, although you can always catch reruns on the show on various broadcast and cable channels, including Comedy Central. If you are looking for clips instead of full episodes, NBC.com has an ever-changing collection of the show's best moments if you need a quick laugh.

Content Writer

Philip grew up in Louisiana (not New Orleans) before moving to St. Louis after graduating from Louisiana State University-Shreveport. When he's not writing about movies or television, Philip can be found being chased by his three kids, telling his dogs to stop barking at the mailman, or chatting about professional wrestling to his wife. Writing gigs with school newspapers, multiple daily newspapers, and other varied job experiences led him to this point where he actually gets to write about movies, shows, wrestling, and documentaries (which is a huge win in his eyes). If the stars properly align, he will talk about For Love Of The Game being the best baseball movie of all time.
