Longtime Big Bang Theory leading lady Kaley Cuoco returned to TV in November with The Flight Attendant on HBO Max, and her former Big Bang co-star is already a fan. Melissa Rauch, who played Bernadette from Season 3 all the way through to the series finale, has weighed in. Considering Rauch spent the better part of a decade of her career with Cuoco playing a very different character on a very different show, her comments count as very high praise!

Melissa Rauch took to Instagram to hype Kaley Cuoco's new show and her performance with an enthusiastic post, writing:

Cannot say enough about how fantastic @flightattendantonmax is and how incredible @kaleycuoco is in it! If you’re not watching, do yourself the biggest favor and get over to @hbomax and start doing so now! Like, stop reading this and do it! Ok...ummm, why are you still reading this!?! Did you not hear me the first time? Get those eyeballs up on #theflightattendant

If you finished reading Melissa Rauch's comments without checking out The Flight Attendant on HBO Max, she might be very disappointed in you! In all seriousness, Kaley Cuoco couldn't ask for much higher praise than she received from her former Big Bang Theory co-star. Five of the eight episodes of The Flight Attendant (which itself is a limited series) have released on the HBO streamer so far, so there's plenty to check out.

Melissa Rauch isn't the only Big Bang Theory veteran to weigh in on Kaley Cuoco's new show. Wil Wheaton, who played a version of himself in multiple episodes of the CBS sitcom, commented on Rauch's post to say "I love it so much!" Still, it's fitting that Rauch is the one overflowing with praise for Cuoco's new role, as Rauch's Bernadette and Cuoco's Penny were close friends on The Big Bang Theory.

Penny may have hit her low points over the 12 seasons of The Big Bang Theory, but she never had to deal with anything like what Kaley Cuoco's Cassie on The Flight Attendant faces. Of course, Cuoco won't be playing Cassie for 12 seasons of The Flight Attendant, which is based on a 2018 novel of the same name and slated to finish its run as a limited series.

You can catch new episodes of The Flight Attendant releasing on Thursdays at 12:01 a.m. PT on HBO Max. Episodes 6 and 7 debut on December 10. If you want to relive Kaley Cuoco's days as Penny alongside Melissa Rauch's time as Bernadette, you can find all 12 seasons of The Big Bang Theory streaming now, also on HBO Max.
