Amber Heard Aquaman 2 return

International Women’s Day fell this week and was celebrated by men and women, celebrities and regular folks alike. Amber Heard is one woman who has had a major year in the press thanks to multiple lawsuits she’s been a part of originally filed by her ex-Johnny Depp and for International Women’s Day, she ultimately opted to pay tribute to the women who have supported her over the last year, including her legal team and her girlfriend Bianca Butti.

Amber Heard’s very official-looking (though there does seem to be wine involved) tribute post included nods to Elaine Bredehoft and Jennifer Robinson, who are both members of her legal team. Robinson represents Heard’s British legal council while Elain Bredehoft is an attorney who is U.S. based and a part of Heard’s upcoming suit and countersuit against Johnny Depp.

In the post, Amber Heard’s girlfriend of well over a year at this point, Bianca Butti, and her sister Whitney, who has supported Heard through her legal trouble, are also mentioned. As a whole the four women have previously been represented in the media as Amber Heard’s “squad” and she does say here that the support has helped her to be a stronger person overall. They have certainly been by her side through her court cases over the past year+ now.

The post is the first that Amber Heard has made on Instagram in several weeks as she prepares for her Virginia-based lawsuit against Johnny Depp. (And also for the release of her next DC project, which is the release of Zack Snyder's Justice League, which will reportedly followed by Aquaman 2 .)The aforementioned suit has Depp suing her for $50 million while she is countersuing her ex-husband for $100 million. Bianca Butti, in particular, has been at Amber Heard’s side throughout this process, appearing in court when Amber Heard testified during the libel case. Her sister Whitney had also joined her in the U.K. at the time.

Insofar as International Women’s Day, Amber Heard isn’t the only person who shared thoughts on the big day, joining a slew of individuals including Mission: Impossible 7 actor Simon Pegg, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman with dissimilar posts, Netflix’s The Witcher showrunner Lauren S. Hissrich -- the list goes one and on. But Amber Heard post is unique given it is her first post in a while and its meaning related to the women she has surrounded herself with as she has been very much in the public eye in recent months.

Next up, Amber Heard will be seen as Mera in Zack Snyder’s Justice League, which will hit HBO Max on March 18, and which Heard also did reshoots for. Recently, the Virginia-based case has been moving forward, and both legal teams have been asking for documents and also statements from big parties such as Disney and even Elon Musk, as well. As things keep moving forward, I'm guessing we can expect to hear more about Heard's "squad," as well.
