Boy Meets World star Maitland Ward is on a roll and she has OnlyFans and the pandemic to at least partially thank for her success. The porn star, actress and OnlyFans content creator had a heckuva last twelve months and recently revealed she’s making more money thanks to her OnlyFans content than she’s made at any point in her career -- yes, even when she was a sitcom star.
In fact, the former TGIF actress says that OnlyFans offered a really valuable service, particularly early on during the pandemic when people were stuck in their homes. Since then, however, her OnlyFans account has continued to be booming and Maitland Ward says she makes over six figures every month.
Six figures is a giant number for an OnlyFans account, though it’s not enough to rank her in the Top 10 earners on site. A few months back we heard from other OnlyFans account user Belle Delphine that she was making over a million dollars a month on OnlyFans and the platform itself has shared some of its high earners among a-listers, mentioning Bella Thorne, Tyga and more in its own rankings. Still, given the average person on the service makes about $180 bucks a month, Maitland Ward seems like she's doing pretty well these days.
Still, Ward also told TMZ that this is the most money she’s ever made in her career and a good chunk of that is due to the OnlyFans webcam work she’s doing. Maitland Ward also mentioned that she does have a contract with Vixen, a company that produces adult films. In addition, news broke recently that she will be acting in a series about a porn star that will be scripted. So, she has her hands in a lot of different pots right now.
According to Maitland Ward, she’s really grateful for a lot of the opportunities that have come her way over the last few years, noting that porn has “given me back my career” and has also helped jumpstart her to “more acting” than she’s done in the past as well.
If OnlyFans isn’t your bag, next up you can catch Maitland Ward in The Big Time, a new sitcom about an adult superstar and a script writer trying to fix a studio’s woes. The series does have a network or streamer yet, but Ward has described it as her chance to bring “sex positivity” into the mainstream and said she got involved because she has perspective from having starred both as an adult film star and as a sitcom star during her Boy Meets World days. We’ll let you know as soon as the series gets off the ground and has an official release date.
In the meantime, it looks like Maitland Ward will have plenty to keep her busy on the work front.
