Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas are celebrating a big milestone in their relationship. The pair recently celebrated their second wedding anniversary, and Turner shared pictures of her and her man on their special day that have never been seen before.
The Game of Thrones alum and singer got married in Las Vegas in 2019 after the Billboard Music Awards, with all of their closest friends in attendance. Fans woke up to quite the surprise the morning after when they saw that Diplo had livestreamed the ceremony on his Instagram to remember the beautiful night. The night was full of fun, friends and family, and Sophie Turner is looking back on it fondly by sharing never-before-seen photos from the Vegas wedding on Instagram and, from the looks of it, it was a night they will never forget:
The photos include Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner sharing a kiss together at the alter, the newly weds celebrating with a bottle of wine and sunglasses, and Turner dancing with Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Danielle Jonas, officially becoming a “Jonas Sister” herself. The wedding wasn’t your typical one, as the two were married by an Elvis Impersonator, since it was Las Vegas after all. And they didn’t have traditional wedding rings, opting for Ring Pops instead. Jonas and Turner had a second wedding in Paris the following month.
Fast forward two years, and the pair is not only still going strong but also quietly raising their baby, who came into the world last summer. While they have been keeping their baby out of the spotlight, aside from a few posts where Sophie Turner calls her hubby “baby daddy” and Joe Jonas posting a throwback photo of his wifey with her baby bump for Valentine’s Day, the two are still happily in love and proving it every step of the way. They recently got the COVID-19 vaccine together, and Turner was even posting screenshots of her listening to Taylor Swift’s re-recording of her Fearless album and the songs she famously wrote about Jonas, which got fans wild.
Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner began dating in 2016, officially getting engaged the following year. While it seems like it was a little fast for the pair, they took their time to get married and they are still as in love as ever. With Game of Thrones done and Jonas not doing any concerts due to COVID, the couple is able to spend more time together.
That night in Vegas was one they won’t ever forget and will provide them with stories for years to come. And even though that night definitely crushed the dreams of every girl who grew up listening to the Jonas Brothers in the early ‘00s into their adulthood, it’s clear that Jonas and Turner are perfect for each other. Here’s hoping they spend many, many more years together.
