How The Kardashians Felt About Answering Tough Questions During The Big KUWTK Reunion Special
Keeping Up With the Kardashians' run on television is done, and in a fashion true to the series, the family went out with a bang. The Kardashian/Jenner clan agreed to a tell-all reunion where allegedly nothing was off the table, and after the full airing of special, it's hard not to believe that. The sisters answered some of the biggest questions surrounding their lives the series never touched on, and the tabloids only speculated on.
Kim, Khloé, Kourtney, and Kris Kardashian, along with Kylie and Kendall Jenner, faced a gauntlet of tough questions but barely broke a sweat answering them. Their composure may have given Keeping Up With the Kardashians fans the sense that revealing their secrets wasn't that big of a deal, though Khloé Kardashian recently stated on Twitter quite the opposite.
8-10 hours of answering uncomfortable questions about one's personal life sounds like an absolutely grueling experience, so credit to all participants involved. As mentioned, nothing was off-limits, and Andy Cohen took full advantage of that by asking everything from why Kendall Jenner kept boyfriends off the show to how Khloé forgave Tristan Thompson not once but twice for cheating on her.
Andy Cohen also asked Kris Jenner about her falling out with former spouse Caitlyn Jenner, which Keeping Up With the Kardashians fans know has been a sore subject for the family's matriarch. Cohen gave nothing but credit to the family for answering his questions and the agreement to do so under one specific parameter.
Given how Keeping Up With The Kardashians has orchestrated family vacations and other events to keep things interesting, one would think producers could've definitely scripted out the reunion if they wanted to. Andy Cohen officially claimed that wasn't the case and that his invasive questions about their lives required no approval by the Kardashian and Jenner family before asking. And, in case anyone is wondering if the reunion just edited out the questions the family didn't want to answer, Cohen pushed against that narrative.
Andy Cohen praised the Kardashians and Jenners for how they handled the questioning, though it is worth noting some questions were "answered" but didn't really explain much. One example would be when Cohen asked Kim Kardashian about the circumstances of her divorce from Kanye West, and the billionaire said she wouldn't discuss the explicit details on television. She went on to give some insight on the collapse of their marriage, but it wasn't quite as juicy as the response could've been. Perhaps the situation was just too new, though, and Kardashian will be able to speak more freely on the topic in the years to come.
Keeping Up With the Kardashians is done at E!, but don't expect the Kardashians and Jenners to stay away from the spotlight too long. For more on the Kardashian family, read up on how Kim Kardashian celebrated her ex's birthday amidst the divorce.
