Justin and Hailey in Anyone music video

Hailey Bieber and Justin Bieber have been in the public eye before but especially since they were married back in 2018. This week they went viral for what seemed to be a not-so-nice reason. A fan out in Las Vegas spotted Justin and Hailey out and about and captured video of the Biebs seemingly upset and yelling at Hailey Bieber. Now, the wife of the famous “Sorry” singer is implying the viral TikTok video is not what it seems.

First and foremost, the TikTok that went viral of Justin Bieber seemingly paints the singer in a bad light. The video was later taken down -- after it had been viewed more than a million times -- but you can still see it elsewhere on the Internet.

Sure, the optics aren’t great, but others who were with Justin Bieber or witnessed him performing that night claimed the singer was just hyped up after having been on the stage performing at Kendall Jenner’s 818 launch. Apparently that performance was high energy, as a fan recorded this video reportedly a few minutes before the one above was taken.

Now, Justin Bieber’s wife Hailey Bieber -- who is seen standing next to her man in the viral video -- has also addressed the situation, telling the trolls to stop. Period. In a series of posts on Instagram Stories, the socialite and daughter of Stephen Baldwin seemingly shut down those who were saying there was trouble in paradise. She said the accusations were “beyond false,” noting:

In fact, Hailey Bieber also shared other posts from their Las Vegas trip, with Justin Bieber and herself seemingly enjoying a good time. As for what was going on in the original viral TikTok, it’s unclear, so I suppose we’ll just have to take the energy of the crowd theory to heart.

Meanwhile, Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber have dealt with trolls plenty in the past, including in relation to people online trying to start drama related to Bieber’s famous ex Selena Gomez and more. This has been going on since the start of their marriage, when some haters weren't shy about expressing their feelings online. Bieber also famously took to Twitter with timestamps and sued for defamation after users accused him of sexual assault in times and places he says he wasn’t at. For them, being in the public eye has been a lot.

Hailey Bieber has said in the past that the thing that “bothers” her most about trolls is that they’ve crafted an image of her that isn’t who she is or how she sees herself. She noted previously,

I’ve had to work a lot of this through with a therapist, because it had got to a point where they’d gotten way too crazy for me, and I was really anxious all the time. The thing that bothers me the most is that a lot of people online really want me to be a not nice person. They expect me to be mean and they call me a bitch. You’ve never even met me in person, you don’t know me.

This time around, she’s decided to face the comments head-on, but I hope they both still remember being a celebrity can have its fun moments online, too. We’ll keep you updated if any more details related to the viral TikTok break.
