If you’re looking forward to the return of Dallas next summer won’t want to miss this video. Production is underway on the series and TNT was kind enough to release a video that looks behind the scenes of the first episode of the revived series.
?While Dallas won’t premiere on TNT until Summer 2012, production started on the series last week. TNT released the following video, which features some of the cast, including Larry Hagman and Josh Henderson and a fair amount of footage from the new series.
Based on the original series, created by David Jacobs, Dallas is being filmed on location in Texas. The pilot was written by Cynthia Cidre and Michael M. Robin, both of whom will serve as executive producers on the series.
Larry Hagman returns as J.R. Ewing, whose plots and schemes over the years have threatened to destroy his entire family. Josh Henderson (Desperate Housewives) stars as J.R. and Sue Ellen Ewing’s son, John Ross, who is determined to undermine his grandmother’s legacy by drilling for oil on Ewing land.
