Kim Kardashian Isn't Worried About Her Baby Being Multi-Racial

Kim Kardashian has a lot on her mind. From her still impending divorce to her changing body, the worry space in the reality star’s brain is pretty much full, which is why it’s a good thing she’s not particularly concerned about her unborn child’s skin color.

Racial politics is often a concern for soon-to-be-mothers of multi-racial children, but given the number of friends Kardashian and boyfriend Kanye West have with different skin colors, the starlet isn’t overly concerned about the specifics. Here’s what she told BET

”I have a lot of friends that are all different nationalities and their children are biracial, so they have kind of talked to me a little bit about it and what to expect and what not to expect. But I think that the most important thing is how I would want to raise my children is to just not see color. There will be so many experiences . . . that you won't really know how to prepare for until you really go through it."

There’s no possible way parents can prepare for everything. Luckily, a high percentage of being good parents is simply showing up. Whether watching baseball games, serving as a shoulder to cry on or offering advice, the best things moms and dads can do is get involved and make it clear they care. And none of those activities has anything to do with race.

Pop Blend’s sincerest thoughts go out to Kim and Kanye as they get ready to add a member to their family. Whether they choose to get married or not, here’s to hoping they remain committed to each other forever.
