Fuller House: The Cute Way Aunt Becky Shared Her Wedding Anniversary With Uncle Jesse

Part of the charm of the original run of Full House was how that house always seemed to get just a little bit fuller as the characters grew up. One of the best additions was definitely Lori Loughlin as Aunt Becky, who joined the household after her wedding to Uncle Jesse. With Fuller House set to premiere at the end of the month, Loughlin has shared a photo celebrating the marriage between Becky and Jesse for their 25th wedding anniversary. Prepare yourself for an overload of cuteness and cut check it out!

Aside from making a generation of Full House fans feel incredibly old, this Instagram photo of Becky and Jesse is positively heartwarming. Full House changed forever when Uncle Jesse got married and brought Aunt Becky into the house as a wonderful role model to the three Tanner girls, and the unfailingly loving relationship between the husband and wife was a wonderful component within the series.

In fact, their relationship was so great that it’s hard to imagine what Fuller House would have done if Lori Loughlin hadn’t come on board with John Stamos for the revival. I guess Aunt Becky could have been conveniently at work as an excuse for her lack of appearance. That would have been the best-case scenario. Turning Jesse into a widower or a divorcee would have been a bummer of a way to kick off the Netflix series. Thankfully, that's not what happened.

Lori Loughlin and John Stamos will be back to adorably light up the small screen once more with the wedded bliss of Becky and Jesse that has evidently lasted for a quarter of a century. Honestly, considering that the episode following Jesse and Becky’s wedding back in 1991 was actually called “Fuller House,” the revival coinciding with their 25th anniversary is pretty much perfect. Becky and Jesse’s twin boys Alex and Nicky didn’t make this photo, but they’ll be appearing along with their parents at some point in the new series.

The revival will be more about D.J. Tanner, her sister Stephanie, and her best friend Kimmy than any of the adults from the original series, but we can count on seeing plenty of familiar Full House faces. Michelle may be offscreen, but Danny Tanner will be back along with Joey and ex-boyfriend Steve.

Fuller House debuts on Netflix on February 26 starting at 12:01 a.m. PT. While there’s no news just yet regarding whether Netflix will order more seasons of the new comedy, John Stamos is confident that there will be more Fuller House for years to come. Who knows? Maybe we’ll see Aunt Becky and Uncle Jesse hit 30 years together. You can check out the cheesy but perfect trailer for Fuller House here.
