Teen Wolf's JR Bourne Headed To Revenge For Season 2

At present, JR Bourne plays the role of Chris Argent, Allison's wolf-hunting father on MTV's drama Teen Wolf. The series just finished airing its second season, and it looks like Bourne has found a way to fill his schedule while the MTV show is on hiatus. He's set to appear in ABC's Revenge, which returns this fall for its sophomore run.

Deadline posted the news today that Bourne is set to play the recurring role of Kenny in Season 2 of Revenge. The character description doesn't mention how the role fits into the story, but he does sound like he'll bring his own set of drama to the table, which is already covered in heaping helpings of soapy drama already. Kenny is described as "a magnetic, self-assured, Hamptons resident who tries to hide his rough edges behind his fancy clothes and Mercedes."

Bourne's Teen Wolf role is pretty intense as it is, as Allison's father isn't your average overprotective but well-meaning father. He's a wolf hunter who keeps a close eye on his daughter, hoping she'll follow in his footsteps in the family business. His credits prior to his role on the MTV drama series include Stargate SG-1, a couple episodes of Fringe and the part of Isaac on the CW's short-lived witchy drama The Secret Circle.

I'll be especially interested to see whose path Kenny crosses in Season 2 of Revenge. Will he be throwing a wrench in Emily's scheming in some way? Or will he be an asset to her cause? It's also possible his story won't tie into the overall revenge-themed story at all. We'll have to wait and see.

Revenge Season 2 premieres Sunday, September 30 at 9/8c on ABC.
