Killzone 3's multiplayer beta isn't the only chance gamers have to try out the PS3 shooter before its release. Guerrilla Games also plans to release a demo of the single-player campaign.
The Move-enabled demo features the “Icy Incursion” level, which takes place about halfway through the campaign. There will be 2D version and 3D versions available for download. The 3D demo may have the visual edge but the 2D demo has split-screen co-op.
PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to get the demo on February 8th in North America and on the 9th in Europe. Everyone else can get it on the 15th in North America and the 16th in Europe. In other words, the general public will get their hands on it at about the time the open beta ends.
