Rampage Confirmed And Other New A-Team Additions

Shooting begins for The A-Team tomorrow in Canada, so it’s about time they finally fill in the remaining casting holes. According to Moviehole, David Richmond-Peck has been offered the role of Gammons. Richmond-Peck worked with director Joe Carnahan on the direct-to-DVD sequel of Smokin’ Aces called Smokin’ Aces: Blowback. Carnahan was so impressed with Richmond-Peck’s performance, he was compelled to cast him in The A-Team.

Carnahan will take the movie in the same direction as the original TV show, except the warzone will be changed from Vietnam to the Middle East. We’ll still see Col. John ‘Hannibal’ Smith, Lt. Templeton ‘Faceman’ Peck, B.A. ‘Bad Attitude’ Baracus and H.M. ‘Howling Man’ Murdock wrongly accused of a crime and imprisoned, but ultimately escaping and working to help the oppressed while being pursued by their nemesis, CIA agent Lynch.

Moviehole has also confirmed that Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson of the UFC will play B.A. Baracus joining Liam Neeson as Hannibal and Bradley Cooper as Faceman. The role of Murdock has yet to be cast but the latest rumors are swirling around District 9’s breakout start Sharlto Copley.
