Hollywood favorites like Batman Begins, The Aviator, and Stripes are all coming online throughout the course of August, bringing classics and recent films destined for such labeling, to streaming devices all over. Though Netflix has plenty of original films debuting this month as well, in particular the teen comedy The Package and dramedy Like Father, which stars Kristen Bell and Kelsey Grammar.
Should you want to make one day in August into a random Kristen Bell marathon, you can very easily take her new film and follow it up with a run of The Good Place's second season, also coming to Netflix in August. Of course, that's not the end all / be all of TV offerings coming up, as The Originals and The 100's latest seasons are being added, alongside returning Netflix favorites Ozark and Voltron: Legendary Defender.
If you're looking for something new though, there are two titles worth singling out. One is the Debby Ryan-led revenge series Insatiable, which has been catching a lot of fire for its premise as of late. So if you want to be part of the conversation, that'll be available for all to see in August. The other notable is Matt Groening's return to animation in Disenchantment, his medieval themed follow-up to the beloved Futurama.
All this, and a bevy of original comedy specials, await you on Netflix's streaming apparatus this August! Be sure to keep this list somewhere you can refer to handily, as the month is going to fly by pretty fast, as Augusts tend to do.
