Jennifer Garner And Ben Affleck Might Not Be Getting Divorced
Being a celebrity is a funny thing. Because while famous actors believe their work should speak first, the status of celebrity also makes their personal life another source of entertainment for the public. Fans cling onto and ship their favorite celebrity couples, and are heartbroken when these high profile romances inevitably go down the tubes. This is surely the case with Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner, who have been in the public eye since they fell in love shooting Daredevil. Fans were saddened to hear that the couple had separated in 2015, although now it appears that they may not be getting divorced after all.
According to People, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck have pumped the breaks on their divorce. An unnamed source (don't you love that?) told the publication that Garner reportedly called of the couple's divorce, determined to work things out with her co-parent and legal husband. But another source makes it seem like more of a team effort, with People reporting,
Of course, we should likely take this with a grain of salt. Neither one of the actors have made any sort of statement, nor has their respective representatives. And with no name tied to the source, this could all be hearsay and rumors.
It's important to note that while Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have not been a romantic couple, they've still been extremely active in each other's lives. The two co-parent three children, so they still take vacations and spend time as a family. In fact, the two still live on the same property, albeit in separate quarters. This surely helps the children remain equally close to both parents, and keeps the family unit together.
And let's be honest, if Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner were able to co-parent and cohabitate during their separation, they're clearly very mature people. This type of arrangement would lead most couples to madness, but Garner and Affleck were able to make it work. If their maturity can already function so well, then it seems plausible that the duo could make their romantic relationship work as well.
Plus, who knows? Maybe this reunion will stop Ben from going full sad Affleck again
All you need is love, after all.
