Are Katy Perry And Orlando Bloom Back Together?
Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom might be getting back together -- if you believe recent speculation. According to a source close to the former celebrity couple, the singer and actor are quietly mending their romantic relationship together, open to rekindling their bond and giving it another shot.
The relationship gossip comes exclusively from Entertainment Tonight. According to their unnamed source, the exes have been spotted hanging out together again, and Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom getting a little more than friendly. Bloom and Perry reportedly want to spend some time together away from the public eye to concentrate on themselves privately, and figure out if (or how) they can build a strong relationship together again. Since they both live very busy, public lives (particularly on Perry's end), Perry and Bloom have "carefully made a plan" to give their love "a second chance."
That's not a confirmation that Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are back together again, of course. But it suggests things are at least amicable. Perry and Bloom were dating for a year before called it quits last February. Now, with some time to put things back into perspective, the singer and the actor are seemingly willing to look back and reexamine their love and figure out if it's worth another try. When discussing their separation in April of last year, Bloom had the following to say, suggesting it was friendly and adult break-up instead of a nasty one.
Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry's relationship was a seemingly fun and open one, though one that was understandably met with the difficulties of their careers. When they are not in each other's company, Perry and Bloom live two separate lives in the spotlight. Perry released her fifth studio album, Witness, last summer, while Bloom was recently seen in a handful of new films, including Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, Romans, The Shanghai Job and HBO's Tour de Pharmacy. He is also signed on to join Carnival Row, Amazon's ambitious upcoming fantasy drama.
It's worth noting that Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom haven't been far from one another's side this past year. They were seen at an Ed Sheeran concert together only months after they announced their uncoupling. They also spent Labor Day together, so at least they enjoy each other's company. With that in mind, maybe they can make it work? We'll see. We'll keep you posted on the state of their affairs -- notably if it involves any more public nudity.
