Emma Watson Is Reportedly Dating A Glee Star
Emma Watson found herself a new man. As it is being reported this week, the Harry Potter alum is being spotted with Glee actor Chord Overstreet, and they're apparently getting pretty chummy. On Thursday, the new couple was spotted smiling and holding hands as they were walking around in L.A.
Page Six got the exclusive on the new dating news. The couple hasn't confirmed their relationship yet, but the rumors have been swirling for a few weeks. They were seen together and photographed at a concert in February. Additionally, Chord Overstreet and Emma Watson were also seen leaving the Vanity Fair Oscars party along with a group of friends, although Entertainment Tonight reported they left separately. An anonymous source for Page Six confirmed they are, indeed, a couple, although notes that Watson wants to "keep things quiet and private" between the two actors for now. But there are seemingly conflicting reports about the matter, as a different source insists that Overstreet and Watson are friends, but not together in a romantic capacity.
If Emma Watson is indeed dating Chord Overstreet (what a name, by the way), it will be Emma Watson's first relationship since she split with William "Mack" Knight back in November. Emma Watson dated the a Silicon Valley tech manager for almost two years before they called it quits.
Privacy is something Emma Watson tries to obtain as often as possible in her very public life. As she discussed last year in a conversation with fellow actress Jessica Chastain, the publicity that came with being in Harry Potter makes Emma Watson appreciate what little privacy she can find.
Additionally, Emma Watson discussed the nature of her romantic life in a cover story with Vanity Fair around this time last year. Here's what she said.
Her romantic life aside, Emma Watson was recently seen in last year's Beauty and the Beast remake and the less than favorable The Circle. She doesn't have any upcoming titles at the moment. Similarly, Chord Overstreet doesn't have any movies or TV shows in the works. His last credit was additional voice work for the TV series Pickle and Peanut. Maybe their free time away from work is allowing them more lovey-dovey time together? We shall see.
