If recent reports are to be believed, the record for most participants in an orgy is going to be blown away real soon. In a valiant effort to take down the current record holder, a new event in Las Vegas (where else?) will boldly attempt to upstage the current 500 person placeholder, which happened in Japan in 2007. The record has stayed dormant since then, but the people of Menage Life are currently organizing an XXX-rated event that'll give this Japanese orgy a run for its money. And then some. On June 2nd (my birthday, of all days...), they'll attempt to host the largest orgy in history. So much for "what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas." Amirite?
The tip comes from the blog Vooge. Though an exact number hasn't been placed or firmly estimated for Menage Life's epic event, they have lofty goals in mind. More specifically, Menage Life is expecting somewhere in the ballpark of 1,000 people to come (in more ways than one) to the advertised orgy. Their record-smashing extravaganza is scheduled to commence at Sin City 8. Sin City 8, for those unacquainted, is a five-day event, and it features a variety of activities, including a pool, a sex dungeon and something called "Slut Olympics." Participants are not required to pay to enter the orgy. However, they are expected to buy a ticket to enter Sin City 8, which can cost hundreds of dollars per person. We're not sure if that's going to deter anyone from joining or not, but Menage Life seems confident that they'll get a whole bunch of people involved in their upcoming debauchery. Also, anyone entering the orgy must have a partner-- no loners allowed inside.

The orgy ceremony is planned from 4 PM to 6 PM, if you want to fit it into your schedule. If you need to take off work, come up with a good excuse. "Breaking an orgy record" probably won't fly. Meanwhile, the previous mass orgy record was performed at a festival with 250 males and 250 females involved. It was recorded and eventually released on DVD for adult entertainment purposes. No word yet on whether or not Menage Life is planning to record the activities performed during their upcoming orgy event.
